Burundi Youth for Christ

WHATS COOKING?

Another month thriving with people/ teams and activity....still celebrating the launch of Homes of Hope -Cibitoke.

Our most exciting projects are at Gitega and Cibitoke Provinces. Here, we are creating centres where orphaned children can find a home, and where we can play a transformational role in surrounding communities through schools and medical clinics. Through these sites, we hope to impact the lives of thousands of people with the message of hope and reconciliation through Jesus Christ and raise up leaders for our country.

We have been trully blessed having lots of people coming in and out. Steve Owen from UK, Heather Huff from South Carolina USA, Ted Bosveld & a team of 7 from Australia and Dr. Anne Beam (South Carolina), who goes on record as the first medical doctor to visit Homes of Hope-Gitega.

A team of 9 dentists from South Carolina, USA also came to serve the local community. The dentists spent 5 days extracting teeth for those in desperate need, with BYFC volunteers assisting them through translation and evangelizing. They saw about 800 people working tirelessly with great attitudes to serve and show Christ to the local community. This is Dr. Bill's third visit.
