Future Hope School

we strive to offer quality education and raise the standards of Education in Burundi. The children from our orphanage attend this school which is located on the same property as the orphanage. it currently has about 150 children going up to grade 3.

why noy ICT? Answered prayer is what it is. we have introduced Computers as a subject to the teachers and students. currently have a lab of 7 computers starting with the very basic lessons. our Volunteer teacher Georgia Collins facilitates this. We hope with time as we overcome the challenge of sufficient electricity we will be able to expand the lab, have more computers and more volunteers to be able to accomodate the number of students/ classes.

The Nursery classes were given a 'face-lift'. Beautifully painted alphabets, numbers and other child friendly/ learning symbols to facilitate learning. 

We can now thank God/ celebrate having our very own Library. 2 volunteers are here and were helping us set this up. the books are primarily in English for the various grades and subjects. we also look at expanding this...looking for French and Kirundi books.
