Future Hope School
The children from our orphanage attend Future Hope School, which is located near to the orphanage. Other children in the community also attend the school, and it currently has 261 children enrolled, going up to grade 5.
Recently, we have introduced computers as a subject to the teachers and students. We currently have a lab of 7 computers in our Gitega school, which are being used for elementary lessons. We hope with time, as we overcome the challenge of insufficient electricity, we will be able to expand the lab.
We can thank God and celebrate because we now have our very own Library. The books are primarily in English, and as we expand the library, we are also looking for more French and Kirundi books.
