Farming Ministry
BURINGA FARMING PROJECT
The project begun in 2006 in Gitega to help support the orphanage and sell milk. It was recently extended to Buringa. The project is moving on slowly as it requires a lot of money, energy and knowledge in this field. Some of the needs at the moment include a new cowshed for the cows, pure water and training of the staff there.
We have also initiated a farming project to help support the orphanage in Gitega. We have 10 acres of land on which we grow rice, cassava and potatoes. A big portion of the land needs irrigation for the farming.
