Born in 1968 in a Christian family, I lost my dad at the age of 4 after in the civil war of 1972. All his possessions were stolen and my mother, a widow progressively lost her faith in Christ. Since then my sisters, brothers and I grew up in bad conditions. After many years of a sinful life, I came to know Jesus on 17th September, 1983 when I was 15 years old. From that time my life had a purpose and I started to love people. I began of sharing my testimony with young teenagers of my school. As I continued to grow as a believer, the Lord entrusted me with leadership at high school, college and work environments.

When I finished my studies in 1995, I started working for the Government in a Statistic Institute and at the same time volunteered with Scripture Union Burundi. Youth for Christ’s vision touched my heart and as my passion is for young people, I found this to be the exact ground where the Lord was calling me to serve. It was not easy for me to make this decision but for the last 9 years, God has been faithful to me and has provided for all my needs. I have been with YFC Burundi since its conception in 2001.

He leads "Operation Watchman", whose vision is to support and pray for our young people and their family, as well as the country.
