Cibitoke

The Lord has done it again! Its amazing when dreams become reality. Our second site developed in an area called Cibitoke - North West Burundi was officially launced on 4th May 2010. A similar model as the Gitega-site is being followed with the desire to reach even more orphaned children and communities for Christ. The YFC Children's Homes will play a significant role in reconciliation in Burundi, where children from different tribes will grow up together. YFC Burundi's vision is for these children to be trained to be the future leaders of the country.

this time round Ted Bosveld was joined by his wife Lorraine; Barbra,Doug & Glenda Townsend, Beverlyand Lynietta....all from Tasmania-Australia. They were all very excited about it; spent 3 days in Cibitoke helping to lay a foundation for another house as well as interacting with the community around. We have 2 mothers and 6 children (2 girls and 4 boys), 4 houses and 1 guest house. More construction to further develop the site is still ongoing and has been fully funded by Villages of Life.
